Sunday Shel

Today's post is two of my favorite Shel Silverstein poems, as an ode to honoring the Sabbath and not feeling so much like writing anything of my own today.

However, these two poems are very representative of me, my style and one of my biggest influences, other than Seuss.

Therefore, I hope you enjoy your Sunday and some Shel Silverstein.

  1. My favorite Shel Silverstein poem is One Sister For Sale: One sister for sale/one sister for sale/one lying and spying young sister for sale/I'm really not kidding/so who'll start the bidding/do I hear a dollar, a nickel, a penny/oh isn't there isn't there isn't there any/one who will buy/one sister for sale/one sister for sale/one lying and spying young sister for sale.

    Happy blogging!
